Guest guest
Dear Dr. Wei, On the subject of having sterilized air in the residence might the justification simply be to reduce the risk of one family member [a school child] infecting the entire family with a bug picked up in school? But more than that if the sterilized air has the power to continually reduce the household population of microbials at a minimal cost might that be a further justification? I'm reminded of the recent account of the SARS situation in China and Hong Kong as presented in Karl Taro Greenfeld's book " CHINA SYNDROME - The true story of the 21st century's First Great Epidemic " . Here a number of accounts of the spread of the virus could obviously have been interrupted had there been more use of indoor air purification technology such as the Chinese government had already installed throughout the Shanghai subway system and later in government buildings. The story of Dr. Liu Jianlun, the treating physician at the SARS hospital in Guangzhou, who exhausted himself and fled to Hong Kong for a well deserved four days of R & R sucumbed to SARS and puked in the hallway of the nonth floor of the Hotel Metropole while three airline stewardesses were passing along with a airline passenger about to leave for Toronto. While Dr. Liu the next day realized his condition was serious and admitted himself into a hospital where he died four days later it was the passenger departing for Toronto who obviously carried the disease there. I thank Ron for his recent presentation on the RGF technology. Yes that technology developed from that used by NASA is thought by many as an answer to controlling disease microbes. Recent studies at Kansas State university show a 98%+ reduction of surface bacteria and viruses within 24 hours in a room being treated. Now wouldn't that translate to a 99.99999% reduction in 48 hours? Guest guest
: I am a builder who has recently been inundated with photocatalytic sales " professionals " who have been touting all sorts of medical sounding voodoo regarding this technology. ALL seem to point to the same Kansas State graphs as evidence that the technology will " save your life " as one housewife turned photocatalytic expert recently told me. While the do-it-yourself testing method you mentioned sounds reasonable, so does building a house with lumber and nails. However, there is a world of difference between reasonable to actual. Is the device you speak of an approved medical device? If so, where are the tests? If it is not an approved medical device, all the claims I have been hearing about are nothing short of sales hype and may cross the line into false advertising. Since you are trained on the technology, please enlighten me. Thanks! > > Steve and Group, > > > > RGF Environmental based in Beach/West Palm Beach has been > the Maker of Ozone water purification systems for years, additionally > they make an ozone generator for the fire restoration Industry. Guest guest
, You avoided the question that "How can human cells be immune to oxidation that kills more than 98% of microbes?" Antibiotic kills organisms selectively. Oxidation does not. Do you inform your clients that's the risk to trade the benefit that family members might spead cold to each other in a lower possibility?
