Didn't New Orleans have snow the other day? That had to be a first!

I never realized it got that cold on the gulf coast!

Elsie,

It is Eastern time, so if you were in Texas, it would be 7:00, becasue it is

Central time.  I campe from Tampa and believe me, you do not look bad.  It is

ununually cold there.  I miss the weather......better than

Texas.

It sounds beautiful Elsie.  I'm so sorry you were so cold and couldn't really

enjoy the ceremony.  It is strange weather this year, isn't it?  I have a friend

who lives near Tampa and they've had ice on their windshields on a few mornings

already!  I couldn't believe it!  I asked her 'What happened to sunny

Florida?'?!!!!!!  BTW, I took a look at the picture of Little Eagle.  What a

handsome young man he was?!  But, I'll tell you the truth, he would have been

handsome no matter what cause he was such a great guy!  I can imagine him

laughing now at the sight of you all dressed up in your 'winter regalia'!!!

LOL! I sure miss him!

I don't know that I ever remember snow in New Orleans before this.  Strange

weather these days, for sure!

Elsie - I live in Arizona, grew up in MN and went back for my mother's 80th

birthday party almost 6 years ago in March. All I had to keep me warm was

two sweater coats, one bigger than the other and a poncho. I was out with

my daughter and asked her if I embarrassed her in my weird attire. She

pointed over to another lady who lived there and was dressed just about the

same as I was. And, I think I was warmer with all those layers than I used

to be when I lived there and had what they considered appropriate jackets

and coats. Jan H

The ceremony sounded beautiful. I've been to Florida when it was

quite cold, but I don't think it was as cold as Diane said with ice

on the windshields. Yikes!
