Guest guest Posted December 13, 2008 Report Share Posted December 13, 2008 Just got back from the Candlelight Ceremony at the cemetery for Little Eagle, It was a nice ceremony but real cold. The candlelighting is for everyone who has a loved there, many thousands attended. My biggest problem is finding winter clothes to wear. My heavy coat consist of a windbreaker, and mostly sandals for my feet. So I figure I'll wear everything I got. I looked just like a bag lady, Little eagle would have laughed for years to come. Nothing I wore helped with the cold. Wind from the north, all blowing on me. Sandals and two pair of socks NO HELP...windbreaker and sweatshirt a waste of time.The stocking cap I had on caused so much static electricty my hair stood stright up and was shooting sparks. Didn't I read some where about gobal warming. Not here, not at my house. Living in Florida is not what it's made out to be.
