I am from Barcelona,Spain. Male, 41,art worker (Not currently), I am

gay ,

I live too alone for to many years .I got a small pension due to my

" brain damage thing " , and since 1 and a half year I live in Southern

Mexico.

My diagnosis is PANIC + General Anxiety with social

Phobia and (recurrent) Depressions.

I read some of yours and filled up the poll.I am sorry but I still

taking Paxil (since 1 year my dose is 5 mg a day)

(I also take Clonazepan daily and Valium when needed,but this may be

another issue)

I see you are very learned on pharmaceutical terminology and also

Acronyms. (A little tough for me)

I started to medicated 8 years ago.(And tried to quit so many times).

Different phsichyatrists gived to me a different SSRI because of the

the awfully side effects of the later one.

First one was Prozac (fluoxetine) then Paxil (Seroxat, paroxetine) ,Zoloft

sertraline), Luvox (Faverin, fluvoxamine),Wellbutrin (buproprion)

Trazodone,

,effexor,Remeron (mirtazapine) (I may forget one or two,besides a

bunch of benzodiazepines) each were tested on me for about 3 or 4

weeks.at least.

I felt from intolerance to Awful side effects from all of them.

So finally I went back to the " lesser awfully " to me, Paxil.

Lesser??? How ironic !!! .

I was worry for my gradual lost of sex drive,desire

and performance for the last few years.And now Those things has

convert me in an ASEXUAL !!!

I have found this group seeking for it.

I was reticent to the notion of On-Line " support groups " . Because I

have been in many " physical groups " over my live, related to

different's " stigmas " .

I have other (Social) " stigmas " that affect me and , ultimately,every

thing overlaps.but I better keep these issues out.

I have never heard ( before than you !!! )

of any other with this very same problem.

Well, you give me a Huge Relieve.

Now I Get were it comes from my current Asexuality.

And I am surprised to see so many members so I feel less alone on this

issue.
