Guest guest
I have been diagnosed with OCD, General Anxiety, and Panic Disorder. I firmly belive I had 4S first and that created my general anxiety and panic disorder. I was not " officially " diagnosed with anything until I was 18. As far as the OCD goes... I had Trichotillomania around age 13 which is an impulse control disorder that some believe to be linked to OCD. It is when you pull your own hair out (literally). It's a very rough thing to go through. My niece also had this around age 10. It is thought that stress triggers it... 4S is enough to stress anyone out to the limit so maybe 4S caused it!! I began repetitive worrying, checking door locks, stoves, light switches, etc... when around age 17. I went on Paxil when diagnosed and it rid me of my OCD, anxiety, and panic disorder but low and behold the 4S is still going strong. I believe 4S is somehow connected to anxiety/OCD disorders because it is so similar in the way be obsess (not on purpose of course) about the sounds that make us crazy. I don't understand why SSRI's don't work though if it is related. > > Who all here has been diagnosed with OCD? > > I have been to a slew of doctors (psych, neuro, family, gyn, audio) and > have not been diagnosed with anything, but it seems like I'm hearing a > lot of us here who have been diagnosed with OCD. Guest guest
Hi , It's great that you are contacting Oprah Winfrey and her team about 4S. Keep up the good work, I appreciate your efforts. Guest guest
I haven't been diagnosed, but in my notes it says I have an obsessive personality. I definitely have mild OCD and I think that it is connected to the 4S because some people don't bother me, so there must be an emotional aspect as well. It never hurts to try again.
