I asked if they treated misophonia, the person who answered had no clue what I was talking about but to her credit, she handed the phone to a woman who introduced herself as Dr. Karr. She said she would check with a colleague who has a lot of information about the different disorders and they will call me back.I was not deterred, I have a bladder condition called interstitial cystitis and though this is a widely recognized pelvic pain disorder, many people have no clue, even healthcare "professionals." I once had a nurse at a pain doctor's office tell me "we don't treat those people." So I am used to these kinds of "rejections" and just keep pushing on.I'll let all of you know if I make any progress. Get Free 5GB Email – Check out spam free email with many cool features! Guest guest
Hey, I have IC too. Interesting that there's another person out there with the same mix of annoying health disturbances! > > I called the school of Audiology here in Tampa at the university. Guest guest
Interstitial cystitis is a treatable condition with alot of knowledge and research and treatments. If anybody needs help please go to www.ichelp.org. We have names of doctors, etc in all parts of the world who have knowledge and are able to treat you... 4S is just at the beginning of being understood and there appear to be no viable therapies. IC can be treated quite successfully > > > > > I called the school of Audiology here in Tampa at the university.
