Guest guest
Darlene, I haven't posted anything on the hyperacusis board, and I don't go to there much, but I noticed how everyone jumped all over you for mentioning 4s. It's ridiculous--what are they worried about? That we might be right, and that all of us who have this eerily similar condition might be classified differently from people with misophonia? Would that be so terrible? I noticed someone said that until research shows there's a difference, it's too "confusing" to call it 4s, so we have to lump it together with misophonia. It's not confusing to us! It's obviously different. And, oh my gosh, we're TRYING to get some research done here. I was pretty mad about all that, so I didn't post anything. It might have been nasty. When I calm down, I'll revisit the thread and add my two cents.
Guest guest
Thank you ! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought I was being attacked! I really thought people would be excited about possible research but some people there seem to think they have all the answers!! You are right... would it be so terrible if this was classified as something different from Misophonia? I don't see why they keep getting their knickers in a knot about us calling this " 4S " . It makes perfect sense to anyone who has this. I did get a bit snippy there last night because I had misplaced my I-pod that day and it wasn't pretty. I'm a bit irritated by one member there who claims to have this as well but is the one giving me the most trouble. I question on what scale she has this. I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one upset by this... I was wondering if I was over- reacting to the replies. > > Darlene, > > I haven't posted anything on the hyperacusis board, and I don't go to there much, but I noticed how everyone jumped all over you for mentioning 4s.
