Guest guest
We started Olivia with NACD when she was 19 months old and she is 13 now. We have used other Neurodevelopemental organizations for the past several years, since NACD was too far away and too expensive. We traveled to WI to use ICAN and have also used the services of a Neurodevelopmental school just minutes from our house. No one organization has all the answers or will do the homework our children need. BUT these organizations can help a parent know what to do that will be best for their child and they can give hope/encouragement when others (in the educational model) have very low expectations. The challanges are finding the time to do all the necessary activities and not feeling guilty when you are not getting it all done, besides the expense. We were blessed by NACD when my husband was out of work and they waived our fee for a visit, then we started to receive some state funds that covered our costs for much of the visit. I personally do not like to do the same things over and over again, so we hired students and young energetic people to do much of these activities in our home. That worked for us. joan**************Life should be easier. So should your homepage. Try the NEW AOL.com.
