McD is pretty rubbish for anyone. It's easy to make burgers at home and

then you know what's in them if you use good meat. I'm British and we

call fried potatoes chips. These are easy to make too but you need a

chip pan. You could try fried potatoes -- often called saute potatoes?

I seem to remember there being cross contamination

issues when Mc's have wedges on the menu. I think the fries and wedges

are cooked in the same oil. I know they don't change the oil that

often - so leave it for a while after they have had wedges on the menu

if you want to avoid gluten.
