Guest guest
I have had selective sound sensitivity since I was 10. It started out with irritation of my mom's sniffing noises. The number of sound and visual irritations has increased to clicking noises of silverwear to chewing and smacking irritations to someone untwisting a Snapple bottle or shaking their leg while sitting. During these times of irritation, I want to punch the person in the face or get up and scream, but of course I never do. My sister has the same problems. She was recently prescribed Abilify. She told me that it helped with sound irritations. I decided to give it a try. Boy, I'm glad I did. It seems to help with the irritations as I don't notice the noises as much. I would like to recommend Abilify to the community out there. It's worth a try. Nothing has ever helped so much.
