Guest guest
Today, my last hour of work so I was already frazzled from a day of noises and this guy sits down in the cubicle station across from me so that we share an aisle but our backs are to each other. He is snorting like a PIG. I mean that deep snort. ICK. It was so awful and I was so frazzled ! Y'know how we sometimes just 'snap' right when the sound occurs. Welll.....oops. The girl sitting next to him across the aisle is a friend of mine and she knows that noises irritated me (though not why, she thinks I'm just easily irritated and highstrung.). So about the fourth or so time that he snorted, I whipped around in my seat, looked at her, and said (not quietly at all) "I'm going to BEAT him!" eep! The guy turned around and looked at me, startled. So I pretended that I was talking about a customer on the phone (we work in a call center). Then, later, she was asking me for help so I was at her seat, next to him, looking at her monitor and he did it again. I looked at him and went "Seriously?!" Then looked at her and she said piped up 'Yep, I heard that one too.'. Yeah, sometimes we can vicious but doggonit, if he can hurt me, turnabout is fair play. So....there. Guest guest
I work in cubicle land too and the guy next to me burps all the time. I get along with him and have good communication with him. Lately I just laugh out loud and he gets the picture. I have noticed that he is doing it less and although maybe burping on purpose, he apologizes afterwards.
