Guest guest
Tony, Thank you so much for the information on Ruth. She is such a caring person I hate to see her having to struggle so. Please forward my well wishes on to her if you speak with her. I hope someone else has information on Patty and will share with us. She has been through so much and deserves good health, as we all do. Tony, you go and enjoy your visit with your Mom. I will be thinking of you basking in the sun as we freeze here in Virginia. You listen to your heart and do what you feel is best. I know how much your MOM means to you and you push so much to spend quality time with her. Enjoy and tell her I said hello and to take good care of you which I know she will. Have a lovely Holiday Season.

Guest guest
Dear Tony, I am sorry to hear of your friend Steve. You obviously meant a great deal to him and to his mother beccause of your unending love for all. Isn't it sad that Steve's father in his grief felt the need to hurt another person? It does seem that father's have the most difficult time with this illness or any illness. But by you showing up, he at least knows someone else cared about his son. Take care of your self, you are loved by many. Amy

They can help hold you up when you need it and their love will give you strength. Do you get the newsletter? If not - I'll e-mail to you directly. It's a beautiful day and I shall look for your star tonight which just might be a planet! Oh well, the wish is still the same: I wish you love and peace, dear Tony, for now and evermore. Guest guest
Thanks for passing on Tony's news. It must feel so good to be surrounded and cared for by his mom after being ill for so long. I was just going to ask if anyone had heard from him, so I was glad to hear things are going okay. His ability to keep on top of everything and be so positive is truly an inspiration. " - Alvin Cullum York Dear Friends: Most people when they go to the hospital usually go to have surgery to have something removed or fixed or to even deliver a baby. What if you went into the hospital and were critically ill and what the nursing assistants removed was your dignity and respect in your last hours here. To make matters even worse when you tried to speak and tell what happened, the nursing assistants laugh at you-like you did not know what you were talking about in front of your child-that your voice did not count. What if the same family values, still ran in your family today like in the years of your relative Sergeant Alvin C. York? God, Family, Community. You gave the hospital a chance to correct their mistake by not suing them. By correcting some obvious policies that were out dated so the nursing assistants did not get just a “verbal.” Then they asked you what could we do to “honor” your loved one. You, the child thought endlessly and gave the hospital suggestions but they would shun them down and never would offer what they would do. Instead waiting weeks even months, hoping you went away they toyed with your mind and downplayed what happened. They would talk down to you. This would happen even when you knew the truth. To think, it could have been as simple as planting a tree or even donating materials or time to some agency in the name of your loved one. Just something to show they respected the dearly departed. Does it sound like it could not happen in this day in age? Is it true that we cannot talk as adults to resolve issues but have to seek peace and justice strictly through the courts. You will be shocked to know this did happen at a hospital in Laconia, New Hampshire. I was the child that heard my mother’s plea. Santee, Memphis, TN Tony wrote:Hell! Allah created Jesus. > Can Jesus, or Mohammed peace be upon them be worshipped? > No, Allah does not accept that a cow, a person, an angel, a prophet, a stone, or anything be worshipped in place of him, or even along with Him. Worship must be to Allah the creator of them. > Is Allah the same as what Christians call the father? > Allah is the creator who Jesus worshipped. He is the Creator who spoke to Moses, and split the sea for Moses, and his followers. That is Allah. But Allah tells us: " Say Allah is one, He is Perfect, He has never begotten, nor was He begott, and there is no one equal to Him " . > Is there a trinity in Islam? > No. Allah is perfect. > Do we believe that Allah created the heavens and earth in 6 days? > Yes, but He did not rest on the seventh day, because He did not get tired. Allah is perfect He does not get tired, nor does He sleep, eat, go to the bathroom, feel pain, or die for that matter. > Can we see Allah? > Allah is not like the sun. Anyone can see the Sun. But Allah is the most beautiful. Nothing is as beautiful as Allah. Actually looking at Allah is the greatest pleasure of the people in Pradise. This pleasure Allah does not give anyone but the believers. So no one will see Allah before he dies. > Does Allah see us? > Allah sees us, and knows everything about us. Allah does not punish us for something we did not do on our own. But at the same time, our will is not inspire of Allah's will. We cannot do anything if Allah will not allow it. In other words nothing goes on in Allah's kingdom without His will. > Did Allah create Evil? > Yes, Allah created the good, and the bad. Whatever bad happens to us is due to our sins. We sin and Allah pardons much of what we do; however, when something bad happens to us it is our fault, and we are to blame. Bad things that happen to a person are a chance for that person to reflect, and ask: " Why is this happening to me? " A chance for a person to return from his sin, and obey, and worship Allah. > Do bad things happen to the believers (good people)? > Yes, they do. But they appear bad to the believers cause they are things people don't like. Who likes breaking a leg? However, when a bad thing happens to a believer this believer is patient. They cared that we go to heaven, even if it meant some hardship on earth. > Who is my worst enemy? > That would be the devils, whether they are human devils (evil people), or Jinn devils (like Iblis) The Arabic word for a devil is Shaytan (similar to Satan). Satan wants us all to go to hell. He wants us to be bad on earth, even if we get rich, or do lots of wrong things that we appear to enjoy, he does not mind that. But he wants to make sure we don't go to heaven. > What is it that keeps us from entering Heaven? > Worship of anyone other than Allah is the greatest sin. He is ascended upon a Throne, which is greater than the heavens, and the Earth. Much much much greater than the heavens and the earth. So much greater that the heavens and the earth could fit in the footstool of the throne, and they would be like a ring thrown into an open desert. Allah is certainly the greatest. > Does Allah look like us? > No Allah is perfect. He is not like any of His creation. He has told us that He has Hands, Eyes, a Face, and Foot. He says in the Koran: " Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam it won't be accepted of him, and he will be one of the loosers in the hereafter " . I would rather loose anywhere, but not loose in the hereafter. This is because Hellfire is eternal. It never ends, and we never die when we go there, if we go there. > What about someone who never heard of Islam? > Allah is the most just. Don't even think that we can be nicer than Allah. Allah is the Most Just, and He said in the Koran " We were not to punish till having sent a warner " . The " We " here is the majestic we used in Arabic. Guest guest
Dear Tony, I'm glad they caught the infection and were able to treat it. Sounds awful. Are you in Atlanta right now and trying to get things together to get back to your mom's? I hope you can take your computer, too. Each first star at night I think of you and we've had some beautiful evenings. The other day, Dave and I were in the parking lot at the store and just stood in the rain to be awed by two full rainbows across the sky. I haven't seen that for quite awhile and still revel in the beauty. Everyone of our group was in my heart at that moment - it was a prayerful moment to be cherished. Take care, Amy

Guest guest
Dear Tony, I am so thrilled for you that you get to spend Mother's Day with your mom this year. Of course when she has come to see you, I think you made everyday a Mother's Day by the special things you did for her like paint her room her favorite color. That was so sweet. As a mom I would want nothing more Than to have my son celebrate the miracle of motherhood with me because he wanted to be there as much as you do. Bless your trip home and time to rest and heal. Guest guest
Dear Tony, I'm so glad that you and your mom were together for mother's day. I'm sure it was especially special for her since your dad let his violence marr what could be a celebratory day. You have such personal strength through your beliefs and your determination to be a survivor in this world. I pray for some relief in your dad's pain and violence. I hope that you and your mom can continue to stay together. With warm thoughts and big hugs Amy
