Dear Friends,

Here are two items of interest:

· ABC TV’s show, The Doctors airs a segment on Down syndrome tomorrow morning, December 2nd at 11 a.m., channel 9. The segment features our friend Dr. Bill Sears, and his self-advocate son, , along with Dr. Jim Sears, one of the regular doctors on the show. Jim is Dr. Bill’s son, and ’s brother.

· Save The Date: DSAOC’s Second Annual Conference will be held Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 16 at the Hilton Costa Mesa. Our working theme is: Dream Big: Life-Long Learning for All!

Would you like to help make this event a total success? I invite you to serve on our conference planning & delivery team. If you would like to volunteer your expertise or time please contact me. There will be plenty to do, and I welcome everyone interested in helping to make this conference a resourceful and energizing event serving our entire community of families and individuals with Down syndrome!
