Using Biociden and probiotics

I hope to keep Cian on biociden for 3 months. I was reading about

biociden, knowing that it kills everything good as well as bad.

Biocidin also kills the " good " bugs such as lactobacillus acidophilus

and therefore pro-biotics (Bio-acidophilus or Replete) should be taken

after a course.

...does the above mean giving Cian probiotics at this time is a waste of

time?
