Guest guest
I inquired with the company and got this response: ------------- Delivered-daphneb@... From: Tina Slater <TSlater@...> " 'daphne@...' " <daphne@...> Subject: RE: Brewer's Yeast Date: Fri, 11 Jan 2002 10:56:57 -0500 Status: U Thank you for your interest and inquiry in TWINLAB. Our Yeast product (s) do not contain any MSG. Good health to you! ------------- So if they were using MSG apparently they've stopped. I hope they would not lie, especially through email, since MSG is recognized as a potent allergen and they would risk a lawsuit. Also it says on the package, no additives or preservatives of any kind. Could MSG be a natural byproduct of the yeast-growing process? Anyway when I run out of Twinlab, I'll try Frontier based on Sally's recommendation. >Message: 11 > Date: Thu, 10 Jan 2002 19:26:44 EST > From: safallon@... >Subject: Re: nutritional yeast ( & claravale) >The best yeast is Frontier. Guest guest
MSG is not added to Twinlabs yeast but it is formed during processing. I believe you can find out more about this at truthinlabeling.com (or org?) Sally
