Guest guest
http://picasaweb.google.com/ps1272000/StateCheer#'s Cheer Squad Competed in the State Competition today and WON their division!!, herself had a horrible off day- but our routine covered all errors it seemed. This really has just been so great for her. :-) They also had a squad the competition who were mostly in wheelchairs! All but three, and they had obvious physical limitations too. They had a great routine worked out using all hands and one of the girls did a back flip- they got lots of audience involvement- the girls all started that, not the adults, and a standing ovation!! This year there was another little girl competing who had DS too. They didn't make it to the State level, but saw her briefly as they were leaving! They also have an entire special needs squad, but they don't 'compete' they are 'exhibition only' I never did see them do their routine, so don't know how they did.
