Guest guest
I just got a call back from Ron of Claravale. The dairy has no intention of pasterurizing and never had any such intention. He never wrote any letter to health food stores to that effect. I wonder how the rumor got started? Hopefully wherever it originated, it was an honest mistake. Guest guest
I just spoke with Ron, also. I'm glad to hear the milk will remain raw. And I appreciate him calling me back. He said the situation with the recall was this: the milk gets routinely tested by the state, first a preliminary test and then a " real " test. This time the preliminary test showed there *might* be a problem. He did a voluntary recall (not required by law) to wait for the final test results, which showed there was absolutely no problem, the preliminary was incorrect. Their milk should be back in the stores next week. Let's try to squash the pasteurization rumor.
