Guest guest
Muir - its what we use while chelating. For us it is covered by insurance - about the only thing ! We use FIR Sauna twice weekly and chelate with OSR, Phospholipids Exchange, suppository EDTA, and NDF. Suddenly Ingvar's sodium drops all time low (off-chart low) on Doctor's Data urine essential minerals. He drinks spring water enhanced with Biopure Electrolyte Formula and takes Cellfood, both containing sodium. His soup for supper cannot be saltier. There is ample of Celtic Sea Salt in his soup, and plenty of seaweed, spirulina, and kelp in his diet. Still, we do not seem to be able to catch up with the lose of sodium. Any advice? I am reading "Minerals for the Genetic Code" written by Walters. The following paragraph really makes me appreciate (trace) minerals even more: -- "When the DNA makes a copy of itself, whatever it wants the cell to do, it asks help form the RNA, the workhorse of our being. In effect, it goes out to the cell and says, "Make this!" The cell complies. If the messenger does not have the proper minerals, the copy of the cell is going to be faulty." Guest guest
I was always chasing sodium too. The FIR sauna wipes me out more than my son! Though he drops to the lowest percentile in the Doc Data UEE occasionally too. Mine was lower than detectable a few times. When I added in Carlson multi-mins and Liquimins Concentrace it seemed that I was able to retain more. My intake didn't increase that much, so I believe one of the trace elements must be a co-factor in the retention. No idea which one though. We only use those supps on sauna days, which used to be 2x per week but now it's down to 1x due to scheduling problems. He can't do it after 4pm because the super hydration makes him need to pee all night long. As for sodium, he gets bone broth 2 or 3 times per day with salt. I normally just have salt with dinner. Can't say how much, but a few of the tiny wooden scoops that comes with the Himalania Salt container. I rotate the Himalania with The Grain and Salt Society brand Celtic because Celtic seems to have more iodine and lithium. I don't know that exactly for a fact, but both our lithium and iodine levels went way up when we were eating just Celtic for three months and then way down then we were only eating Himalayan for three months. I want a balance slightly above the 50th% range, so I rotate now. It's been a while since we done DD UEE's, so it's time for a check to see if I got it right. The last UEE was close to where I want us to be with lithium and iodine and just perfect for sodium - middle of the green zone high. I'm not sure what mine will show this time. There has been so much medical stuff going on and I've been on a bunch of supplements, including chlorella - which tastes a bit salty to me. My son's UEE should be a pretty accurate representation of his diet and supps while using FIR sauna and detox clay bath 1x per week, so I'll let you know what his sodium levels show this time. > > We use FIR Sauna twice weekly and chelate with OSR, Phospholipids Exchange, suppository EDTA, and NDF. Guest guest
Would adrenal stress affect sodium levels? I know folks with insufficient adrenals are encouraged to consume salt. I know it helps me.I wonder if more adrenal support--adrenal cortex, licorice, B5--would make a difference.JillSent via BlackBerry by AT&TDate: Fri, 14 Nov 2008 19:26:45 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >Subject: Re: How to replenish sodium?
