Guest guest
Deanna,Joanne, Kate, Sally, Kim, Thank you for your useful information. Sunday morning, I wrote a letter to our neuro about two medicines that is recommended by you (Depakene and Vigabatrin) Sunday afternoon, was admitted to the LP Children's hospital again due to high frequency of the seizures. After doubling the dosage of Phenobarb.(through IV ) last night, showed severe rash this morning and he is extremely fussy. So the doctor decided to stop the Phenob. this afternoon and start new medicine Depakene. I did mention Vigabatrin to the doctor again, but the doctor's comment is that Vigabatrin is hard to get. I guess we have to wait to see the effect of Depakene, if nothing else works, the doctor will have no choice. We have been in and out of the hospital for the past 4 weeks and has been trying 3 diffferent medicines, and so far nothing worked, and is extremely irritable, now he does not like us hold him anymore. We are very frustrated, and pray for the new medicine to work for him. Thank you again for all your help! Best Regards, Gan and
