Laurie Molina is a a good ped in sugarland she is part of Physicians @ Sweetwater

I am looking for an old fashioned pediatrician who will not refer me to a specialist for everything particularly psychiatry.

I had one, Dr. Mintz but he retired and those Ive tried since do not meausre up.

Ive gone to some well reputed psychiatrists but they all leave it up to me to decide the meds and the dosage for my son. I am so tired of not being able to find a well trained psychiatrist, usually they are good at something but not good for my asperger son.

I even coach them on how to talk to him and they ignore that, look straight at him very directly and of course he is over whelmed.

Anybody know a good pediatrician around Houston or Sugraland or beltway.

One very unusual

pediatrician in the Houston

area is Dr.

Krenie Stowe. She even makes house calls! I do not know if she would be right

for everyone, but she does say she does psychotherapy and I know she prescribes

meds. She’s very involved w/ the anti vaccination movement, so she’s

someone I’ve considered using, as I have a tough time getting into the

door of a Drs office w/ my unvaccinated kids. She has an office in the

Woodlands for people who want to bill their insurance company, but for cash pay

you can go to her office in The Heights or she’ll come to you. I assume

you can file your own claims w/ either of these alternatives.

Our Doctor, Cheryl DO, mostly focuses on cranial/sacral work,

but she does prescribe medication and knows how to work w/ autistic kids. She

is on Richmond

right off 59 just inside the loop. You have to file your own insurance claims

as her office does not file for you.
