Hi :

Thank you so much! sorry I had not had a chance to read my emails (I am not at home) until now.

I would very much like to get in touch with the family in Basel. I will be traveling to Basel on January arriving there on the 6th and leaving on the 10th and it would be great if I could talk to them even if it is over the phone.

Thanks again,

Hello Jeannettewe live in Zurich which is about an hours drive from Basel. In Switzerland children start school with 6 or 7, kindergarden with 5, so you won't have to worry about that yet.As Switzerland is divided into 24 parts called "cantons", similar to the states of the US, and every state has its own school system, I can't tell you very much about the situation for children with special needs in Basel, but if you like I could get you in touch with a family or two living there. Zurich has only just stared with integration/ inclusion in regular classes...From what I've heard on tv and read in the paper, Basel seems to be a bit more ahead of us.In the meantime you can read a few lines about the school system here: http://www.basel. ch/en/educationThe information is in English, quite a rare treat! So just let me know if

you need any more help, ok?Jannette Janson de de la Lastra schrieb:

To all the Ginkgo users, after reading the package insert of Tebonin by Schwabe, the mostcommonly used Ginkgo product in Europe, I was somewhat surprised atthe statement that there was no scientific evidence for Ginkgo causingbleeding events. So I've been looking through the most recent Ginkgo Biloba studies onPubMed and found this statement to be accurate, at least according tothe most reliable sources (I wouldn't give it to a kid with seizuresthough, the evidence is still contradicting and a connection can't beruled out)Following are some of the articles and studies I have found./Switzerlandhttp://www.scienceb asedhealth. com/sbh/resCen/ EduFacts/ vol_05-05. asphttp://www.ncbi. nlm.nih.gov/ pubmed/18214851? ordinalpos= 2 & itool=EntrezSy stem2.PEntrez.. .
