If so, my top three explanations would be: 1. unfortunate effect on the bowel flora composition. 2. the few pathogens killed caused increased immune reaction against the remaining pathogens, but without being able to clear them, thus increasing inflammation. (This idea is completely speculative.) 3. coincidence
Guest guest
Amy, dosage is not the first thing I'd consider. I'd be thinking it was the wrong abx for your organism.amy poet <amydent9@...> wrote: I was on both doxy and zithro for 1 and 1/2 years. It did absolutely nothing. Guest guest
What dose were you on? But didn't the research arcticle say it only helped those with low carnitine levels? Then again, maybe it doesn't attack whatever you are infected with. My Lyme doctor thought it helped me but didn't cure me because I had babesia. No one knows. a > > > I was on both doxy and zithro for 1 and 1/2 years. It did absolutely > nothing. Guest guest
I think I forgot to write that I was on 500 or 600 mg a day for years. a > > > > I was on both doxy and zithro for 1 and 1/2 years.
