Hi ,

Look I changed the subject. No wet noodle for me.

I have a patient who has Tufts Health Plan and I have not been able to reach him

for a tele #. I thought you might have it. I hope he can come here.

Thanks for your help.

Hi guys,

I had a conference call w/the folks @ HCFA today re: ongoing planning

for the HCFA session in SLC & they said they've been getting TONS of calls

re: this issue. They know it's a hot topic right now & plan to cover it

extensively during their session.

Speaking of which, for the benefit of all the new people who have

joined this group either since the last time I sent out this request, or

just in the past week or so (we've had a HUGE jump in membership, probably

due to the Forum Registration packets getting out), let me remind everyone

that we're going to try not to take questions from the audience during the

HCFA session & would prefer that questions be submitted in advance to me for

forwarding on to HCFA. This will not only allow for the necessary research

to provide the most correct answer, but also to ensure that the correct

policy person is in attendance to answer the question-don't forget, though

the session will be starting @ 2:45 SLC time, that's 4:45 pm in Baltimore,

so staff will be starting to make their escapes for the day & wouldn't

necessarily be w/in shouting distance to come join the call. Let me assure

you, follow-up questions to the topics being discussed will certainly be

allowed, but questions that are completely off topic, we may have to by-pass

& I would hate to have that happen after everything that's been done to have

HCFA's participation this year. So, if you have ANY questions, regardless

of how mundane or basic you might think they are, PLEASE e-mail me w/them

(privately at LAguiar@...

) so I can make sure we cover it.

Also, if anyone has any COB questions they'd like clarification on, again,

please forward them to me.

Thanks everyone & welcome, again, to all the new people!
