Wow, this molecule is a big isoprenoid hydrocarbon plus *one* hydroxy.

It must be virtually insoluble. Youd think it would just stick in a

membrane and never come out. Candida is (to date) an obligate human

symbiont, I definitely haven't heard of it living in any oil slicks so

what's doing with this farnesol?
