It's one of the supplements Yasko recommends. I haven't tried it.

Does it make you tired? I guess that's okay at night. My son is

currently taking two Gabapentin at night, which increase GABA. The

docs tried him on more and during the day but it made him too

fatigued. Didn't help his pain levels either (which was the point),

but helped him initially with sleep cycle. I don't think it's doing

anything anymore really.

GABA's not exactly speed, for sure... I generally don't try taking it

during the day, though. If I'm not tolerant it feels very relaxing at

750 mg. But after a few uses within several days, tolerance sets in and

there is no longer any evident psychoactivity.

Hi ERic,

I am not sure what you mean by psycoactivity. Do you

mean it doesn't relax you when tolerance sets in???

Yes. And when tolerant I have tried increasing the dose, but then it

just gives me a repulsive peripheral tingling, without relaxation.

I understand. I have gotten the same affect for some

antidepressants.
