The bones to not in and of themselves produce force. Let me clarify that.

If I seeminly eluded to that I apologize. However, the spine is a

neuro-musculo-skeletal structure that does produce force with any and all

movements. Those forces vary based on the structure that exists, and the

loads and movements that it is required to do.

The " spine " is composed of bones, ligaments, and discs. It is not Neuro or

Muscular. It contains the spinal cord and has muscles attached to it, but

are not considered part of it.

It does not and cannot produce force. It can only respond/react to forces

external to it.

If you are in some way including all the muscles, and fascia connected to

the spine, then you are talking about the Torso if not most of the body.
