If I seeminly eluded to that I apologize. However, the spine is a neuro-musculo-skeletal structure that does produce force with any and all movements. Those forces vary based on the structure that exists, and the loads and movements that it is required to do. Casler writes: The " spine " is composed of bones, ligaments, and discs. It is not Neuro or Muscular. It contains the spinal cord and has muscles attached to it, but are not considered part of it. It does not and cannot produce force. It can only respond/react to forces external to it. If you are in some way including all the muscles, and fascia connected to the spine, then you are talking about the Torso if not most of the body.
