Guest guest
Stacey, We have compiled a document in the Files to help people research these. Go to the files document " Informative Posts & Info on Valkion & Cold Lasers " . The document breaks down many of the choices you have, both home and doctor only. Cold Laser are documented and used in the NASA technology, so the first research links start at the NASA site. Here's a start for you from the document (there's lots more): Post # Basic Info on Cold Lasers: 1617 Cold Laser Research Info: which includes links for: grtseminars.com listing Quantum Neurology docs 1618 Dr. Answers some Cold Laser ?'s 1683 " Cold laser therapy more info " 1684 Cold lasers > > Being kind of new here, I keep hearing about these lasers but don't > really know what these are. Guest guest
I've also been looking into the cold laser therapy. I still would like to know at what point is this beneficial? Does the child have to be already recovering for this to help? How often and how long should the sessions be? Is cold therapy with a chiropractor who's never worked with an autistic child better than nothing at all? Thanks for any insight. > > > > Being kind of new here, I keep hearing about these lasers but > don't > > really know what these are. Guest guest
, Cold laser therapy can be used at any stage during recovery, even the beginning. In our WA group there was a little guy (I'd say 4-5) that's IgG/IgE # went up under a local DAN! in one year doing standard DAN! (diet/probiotics and the typical tests/treatments done on a gut/kid). After a year she posted her sons # went up and was very frustrated (by the way, we run into him fairly regularly at DE's). She added track with DE and within a year not only did her numbers go down, he was non-verbal and started speaking. Her story is remarkable because as he lost speech, she would bring him in for laser and her would walk out speaking more....at first it was just a word, then multiple words, now sentances. He is cute as can be and always says, " Hi " and they start playing together in the office. She's up North so the only way they know each other is through DE's office (for our weekly LED's she always followed our appt). This is one of the many moms that kept her DAN! and added the lasers to fast-track her recovery. In regards to seeing a dr that is not ASD trained, I would if it was the only way to get the treatment. You may need to walk them through some things, but being informed yourself and connected to this group for coaching them, training them is a good thing. If they are a QN dr, DE has been talking to Dr G about the Lyme & Toxin issues. The main thing these drs need to understand is you can stir up toxins that need to be dealt with with the cold laser treatments. I'd especially go to them if they do muscle testing (which QN's & Dr LC trained LED practioners are). If they are Dr LC trained you will not have to worry about teaching them about binders and Boch flowers to support a detox. If they are QN trained, you may. If they are just QN trained, I would bring along some binders to have them muscle test...you'll probably need them (my first QN treatments he had some big toxin dumps). Either way you'll help move things along. Especially the QN is a great tool for vision issues (tracking, peripheral vision, focus issues) as well as step rehab, muscle co- ordination and rehab and restoring neurological fuction. As far as session times, 's were about 30 min, the dr will tell you based on his neurological evaluations. Guest guest
Thank you so much the reply. It makes me totally scared to go to someone who knows less about treating autism than me...is there a national list of cold laser practitioners who do work with autistic children? So, cold laser is a detox that would require the correct supplementation to deal with it? I know we can't mention doctor's names, but if you have the time would you please e-mail me the names of some good ones that you know if...I don't know what doctor you're referring to in your message, sorry. I'm in Milwaukee, WI but am willing to drive. > > > > > > > > Being kind of new here, I keep hearing about these lasers but > > > don't > > > > really know what these are.
