Very interesting stuff. I think if you've got a huge pseudonomas load

you'll get knocked around by the salt- wether it kills bacteria or

reverses some dehydration (that obviously needs adressing in most of

these conditions)- is more realistic IMO than it killing

bugs.Something that also has a huge impact on food and salting that

may be relevant to this, is the slime reduction capabilties of

bacteria in a high salt environment. My assumptions on heavy salting

is that you won't get any slime formation occuring to cause spoilage

in foods or to enable a similar process to impact on your body.NOT

NECESSARILY REDUCTIONS IN BACTERIAL NUMBERS- although a rotting

organism is possably going to cater for many more billions of bugs

than a stable organism..

to exercise which caused my muscles to break down. This has put me

in hospital twice. On salt & C I have been exercising using dumbbells

for 6 months and the muscles are building up instead of breaking down.

cancer, food mal-absorption and other problems for years. March

10th we were woken throughout the night by neighbor's dogs barking.

This has been an on-going problem for 4 years. The owners frequently

stay away over night, leaving their distressed Jack Russles howling

all night in the garage near our bedroom window. I was able to

confront the owners (on the phone) & stand my ground in the face of

being yelled down by both husband and wife at the same time. Prior

to salt & C I always put up with anything because I was not well

enough to cope with my own body, let alone confrontation. My main

ambition in life had been just to remain vertical for more than a

couple of hours! That evening we had a party for my 50th (eeek!)

birthday. I have not been well enough to really

> On March 13th Vic went into hospital for an operation. My dad

passed away that same evening! My brother phoned to say dad had just

died at 10pm. I was home alone, and surprisingly, I coped really

well. The funeral was only 3 days later. Vic was not allowed to

drive after the op, so we had to get a lift, but I was amazed at how

well I coped. I even got up to the microphone in front of about 70

people and read a speech about my dad. I included some humorous

things and many people laughed. I believe that if I did not know the

love of my heavenly father, I would not have coped with the loss of

my earthly father so well.

> The day after the funeral, with the help of a friend to drive, I

did all the food shopping and then reported for duty at our

church's " Free Family Fun Day. " (A huge carnival with over 6,000

people) Despite the sadness of my loss, I was able to work my 3 hour

shift and then stand in a cue, unaided for some food. Even last

year, I had trouble standing in a cue without my walking frame!

> Prior to salt & C, I know I would not have coped with any ONE of

these events, let alone all these things happening in the same week!

I still have some problems, but I am slowly getting my life back. I

am convinced that salt & C is killing the Lyme bacteria and reversing

all the damage.

Yeah, I read one study that says that Vitamin C also has the ability to reduce the biofilms. So it may not be that it's killing the bugs as much as it's helping the body cope with them better and respond better. Plus I agree that the salt and fluids are probably having a positive effect for thosepwc with hypotension and dehydration issues (many of us). But there are people who are reporting some pretty serious harm being done to their kidneys etc., by taking such high doses of salt, so caution must be observed. This is a highly experimental treatment based on nothing but word of mouth at this point. penny dumbaussie2000 <dumbaussie2000@...> wrote: PennyVery interesting stuff. I've been following this therapy for a long time, mainly because I

think the salt avoidance thing that's been drummed into everyone has

been an error in judgement by the medical profession... It's sort of

like when they discover that Oh- whoops! margarine isn't as good for

you as real butter- and whoops!- skim milk has the most important

component stripped out- and whoops!- eggs aren't so bad for you.

I think most people are minerally imbalanced- probably due to either

a long term chloride inbalance- possiblky caused from too much sodium

(notice I didn't say salt- which is sodium chloride).

So I think some people could really feel better if they balance the

electrolytes- and minerals- but there's real potential for damage if

salt is taken incorrectly (without enough water with it).

I'm unconvinced that it the salt killing Lyme. Think about it

people...

the body has a narrow tolerance for the level of salt in every fluid

and organ in the body - so how the hell are you going to raise that

salt level high enough to kill pathogens? It's just NOT the way the

body works. Any Physicians reading this list?- ANy commenst?

Barb'I don't believe myself that salt kills pathogens BUT I DO KNOW

that it stops the slimy peutrification toxins from doing there

thing. You basically select bacterial growth without the greening

shenanigans..
