Guest guest
I am a night owl... always have been. I believe I'm this way because of what you said " there is a sense of calmness at night " . There are some nights I don't go to bed until 3 or 4am because it's so still. It's my time to unwind, relax and be able to think clearly. Luckily I don't have to be to work until noon which helps I would love to work a graveyard shift as long as I was the only one there! > > Just wanted to share that for years I didn't even know I was sensitive to sound because I worked both swing sift and graveyard shift. Only when I got married and went to living the " day " life did I start hearing all these sounds that I was surrounded by that started driving me crazy...actually...if my husband didn't work days I would go back to " living " at night again...when everyone is at work...I am sleeping and when they are at home...I am working and I liked it just fine that way...there is a real sense of " calmness " at night when the world is asleep and I can really enjoy it. There are people who are actually " allergic " to the sun and can only live at night, that is my preferred time of the day and always will be... > > As far as noises that have been driving me crazy lately " cracking knuckles " is up there for me...everywhere I go...the dang salespeople, my husband, my grandkids, all crack their knuckles...must be a nervous thing for them but it makes me wanna slap them...sheesh... > > This is just something I was thinking about and wanted to share since it seemed to help me to work at night but I am sure some of you won't find this as any kind of an answer to the particular way you may suffer from this " disease " .... > > Love and Light, > > Kathy C. >
