Re: Swimming in Chlorinated pool okay with LDM rash?

My mom developed a staph infection on her arm after swimming in a chlorinated pool when she had a little cut that had completely healed over. The chlorine might not get everything AND it messes with your ability to detox. I would vote on waiting. And as a mom, I would definitely not want my kids in the pool if there was a kid in there with a "pretty scary" rash. But that's me :)JillSent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: "ilovjp4" Date: Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:54:49 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >Subject: Swimming in Chlorinated pool okay with LDM rash? Hi All, Do you think it is okay for to swim tomorrow on day 4 of the rash? It still looks pretty scary but his school goes swimming every Tuesday and he LOVES it. I'd like him not to miss it and the school can't complain because I started the school and am the director : )) Thanks for any advice, PS left message with DA but she is out of office

Hey ,

I would be cautious about it.

His body is going thru a rough detox right now shedding the viruses.

Also, the chlorine might make the rash and itchiness worse as it

would probably dry it out. If there would be any way to just skip

one swim session....this would be it. His body would have to add

chlorine to the detox list. Just my opinion...maybe others will give

you more advise.

I'm agreeing with Jill and Stacey. Chlorine drys out and irritates

the skin, not to mention the toxin absorbtion his body does not need

right now. The toxin movement alone can also tire them out, so even

though they acted fine, we still recommend more " down time " and

backed off on the activities. I also tried to keep his activities

with direct contact (including water) down. They are moving a lot of

toxins to have it come out through the skin, I'd not only keep him

away from the chlorine in the pool, I'd make sure your bath water

has the chlorine removed and add an epsom salt baths followed by

some good non-pour clogging oil to moisten and feed the skin. Come

to think of it, I was actually advised some bentonite clay baths in

the bath during this time to help draw out and detox....followed by

the oil.

Keep us posted on the rash and how he's doing. What do we have right

now....like 3 kids in the rash on the group....wow...we've got a

whole lot of detox'n going on!

-Hi Rita, Jill and Stacey

Thanks to everyone on the swimming. He felt too miserable to go to school so it

was a

mute point. I think I will go get some Bentonite clay and what would be a non

clogging

oil? I am using Aloe for the itching but don't have an oil. I am unable to get

in touch with

DA so I don't know if there is anything else to add to get the most bang from

this detox.

But hopefully we are shedding a nice layer. Definitely had a lot of dark urine

last night

which Yasko says is a sign of viral detox.

Thanks!

,

In our WA group, our favorite non-clogging rash calmers were a Neem

Aloe Vera lotion and/or Calendula oil, Emu oil and Coconut oil work

nice too.
