Guest guest
I am looking for a good overview of the IEQ issues in brand new school buildings. My children's school is opening a new addition and they did NOTHING about green, health, chemicals, ergonomics, safety, cleaning, hvac commissioning, etc... . I even offered to provide free consulting before they started the design process! They ignored me. Typical school board!E.g., reportedly, they didn't have A/C installed. Only heat. I need to confirm this. In the city! This aint pristine mountain air we get here! It's the urban center of Cleveland! Heat, humidity, traffic and industrial pollution! For example, does anyone recall a study from the Federation of Teachers about IAQ in schools. The only thing I can dig up is a press release from IAQA about it. I have EPA docs and guides and more, but can't find a good summary that would be useful and easy for principals and parents! Ultimately, the goal is to provide info to the Board and get them to make sure the building is properly commissioned and found safe and healthy for the kids. thanx to everyone who can help. This is my pro bono work for the quarter! Psssst...Have you heard the news? There's a new fashion blog, plus the latest fall trends and hair styles at StyleList.com.
