Guest guest
Sorry for cross post. Hoping to get some feedback on the effects of the ketogenic diet in its early days and also on stridor (due to floppy pharynx) Hannah has been on the keto diet since last Thursday and there seems to be a pattern emerging in her behaviour. For most of the morning she is sleepy, then in the afternoon she seems to be more alert but settled and relaxed, and in the evening she is so happy and active I can hardly believe it. I just wonder if this is typical behaviour and if anyone else has noticed similar in their children. The second thing I wanted to know was about stridor due to a floppy pharynx, which has just been diagnosed as the cause of Hannah's snoring and respiratory problems. Do any of your children have it and how is it managed? What problems arise with it and what equipment is needed? Thanks in advance, in Melbourne, Australia (mum to Hannah, 3yo; polymicrogyria, uncontrolled complex partial epilepsy, spastic quad.cp, cortical vision impairment, global dev. delays, bard buttonand a brilliant smile)
