Website about our book with a place to leave a comment

Hi all,

I recently made a new page up on a website that is partnered

with the publishing company I used. This is just to get the word out there more

about the book.

There is a section to leave comments, so if you wouldn’t

mind, leave a comment there about the book .

I am almost finished with the flyer about the book and with

the press release. I will let you guys know when the flyer is done. I would be willing

to mail some to any (or send you a PDF of the flyer) of you who would like to

include the flyer in their new parent packets through their DS support groups,

etc.

Dear Qadoshyah, Let me take the opportunity to congratulate you on your book. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and there is SO much in it ! It is amazingly extensive and must have been a LOT of hard work to put it together. We can tell how much you love your brother and it is so important to share in print all the research you have done. A little thing that I missed and you might consider for the next edition, or maybe a letter could be attached in the beggining of the books: I think you could say something like - here you will find almost everything that is available currently in terms of treatments and information, but bear in mind that every child is different, even children with Down syndrome, and what may work for one, might not work for another. You dont have to do all that is written here with your child - it will depend on their particular needs. I tell

you, I have been there and know a lot of new parents, desperate to do something to help, that might want to do everything that is in the book, when we know some children respond better to this or to that and every family is also different, function and think differently. Another thing that I would say is - your child is a child like any other. Here are some tips to help some of the issues she might go through (or something like that). By the way, the children on the cover look beautiful, and so does the book ! It is sitting on my living room coffee table and I try to read an article every time I have a chance.
