Guest guest
Robin, I wish I could help with your questions, but I'm new to all of this, but.... I do have neurological Lyme symptoms. I have severe depression and HIGH anxiety, cannot think, cannot handle stress, cannot remember a thing. I feel like I'm yelling at my kids all the time b/c I'm constantly over-stimulated, over-stressed. I'm trying to get a grip on it, but I've never felt this out of control of my life. I want to be a good role model for my kids, obviously, and I am not right now. That's the worst part about depression for me is knowing that my kids deserve the Mom I should/could be if I wasn't neurologically impaired. I've never been depressed before this last year and a half and it has just taken a toll on my entire family. I'm on Lexapro, Klonopin, Xanax...I would like to treat naturally, but can only do so much as far as money goes. And...frankly, I'm terrified of being as depressed as I was when I first asked for help. I was crying all day, everyday for no apparent reason, chest pains, the most excruciating anxiety! If you have successfully dealt with this naturally, affordably) and have a good option for how to make this better so that I can get off of these drugs I would greatly appreciate it. I was seeing a holistic dr and I spent 15k last year just on me and I was feeling better, but she doesn't take ins, of course. My supplements were starting to get close to 1k per month. That doesn't include my ASD son and now with our entire family infected with Lyme. What can you do?????? ahhhhh...... So overwhelmed. Thanks for listening and I wish I could help you more, but you are NOT alone with the neurological symtpoms. How do yours manifest? Blessings to all, Sandi > > My daughter is on abx. Guest guest
Sandi, I completely identify with your description. It is this inability to handle stress. Some days I am fine (and controlled) and other days it is so hard. I feel for these children with neuro symptoms. I have a logical mind. I can think about what is going on, but they cant. I feel overwhelmed sensory wise.. noise, lights. I can crash emotionally. I now know why I would wail in the past before lyme diagnosis scrubbing the floor when a watermelon rotted on the wood floor.. I forgot it was there and I wailed uncontrollably. That does not happen as much except when I am on abx that hit the BBB and then I am a nut case. Last time was zith and art. I crashed so hard.. depression like a boulder, crying all day over everything. This was about 6 months ago and I would not touch an abx or antimicrobial for months. I played with cumanda and samento a little. Then I had a bad flare this fall. It was neurological again. Back to basket case. Anxiety crying hard to think and make decisions.. this is all a low to med hum with me all the time, esp the anxiety and decision making.. which brings on anxiety. So new doc and I choose to go for it.. low dose mino working up to 100 twice a day. Up to full dose and I crash within a couple of days. We back off and I have been on half dose since. The DAY after I backed off, I was about 80% better. It must be controlling but not really killing. Or the flare has past or they are in cyst. Whatever. We are starting flagyl (my first time) very slowly. I have small little tremors in my upper back and shakes. This can travel into my arms and legs. I can feel this stuff in my spinal cord. My sinuses seem to be involved when I have some of these neurosymptoms. I think it must be inflammation. They throb then my bhead does,,, cant deal with light and noise then its all downhill from there.. those are the thinking and dealing with stress symptoms and maybe some anxiety. The crying is another thing. The tremors and shakes I cant tell where they come from except my spinal cord possibly. While I was on salt c (off because of abx) I did once have little scabs on my back. I think I am infested in my CNS. I am curious as to what antimicrobials penetrate the BBB. Do any of the Nutramedix products? Thank you Sandi. It is overwhelming. We are new to this and to find out the whole family (except my son who muscle tested neg.. for today) is infected.. its just a shock. The money. How to treat. The info.. then putting the info together to make sense. Then deciding what info to use.. and on and on. The brain fog and anxiety.. like a haze of smoldering fire penetrating the brain.. Why cant this be simpler? I think I am on every supplement known to man.. and have had so many tests, then I hear of all these other tests that I dont have access to. I'm lucky to get a homeopath who muscle tests. Do we need those tests? I just want a simpler solution! I hope the valkion comes with instructions my husband can read.:-D Robin > > > > My daughter is on abx.
