Guest guest
Doris, I hope you don't mind that I pulled your post off of experimental to here. (Ken L. isn't crazy about Yasko being on that list.) I remember you from the years Leslee Dudley ran the mycoplasma list. I would be most interested in a more detailed explanation of your recovery including how long you consider yourself recovered. I have to say that I found your assumption that those of us who have been around awhile are still terribly sick and just haven't paid attention to Shoemaker or Rich V on Yasko as just your inference. Perhaps I am being paranoid and taking your comment personally when it was not aimed at me at all. I guess I like to think I have contributed a lot to humanity over the years I have remained active on these email lists and not a sign that I am terribly sick. (My current health issue seems more related to some damage or illness triggered a year ago by a throat exam than prior cfs or Lyme.) But mostly I am pretty annoyed with all the expensive Yasko stuff, most of which I have tried in some other form for years. You mention all the supplements on your kitchen counter - surely you must have already taken Yasko's stuff prior to now. I know Rich doesn't think I took the right products (B vitamins etc) so I look forward to your detailed explanation of your total recovery. Below you will find your statement to Experimental. Thanks for any insights, a Carnes Hi guys I haven't been reading much since I recovered but I decided to drop in and see what's going on. I am kind of following the genetic detox work aka Yakso, because that seems to be key. It is frustrating for me to see so many of you still on the list from years ago, and still sick. I was there with you for so many years, and I know how difficult it is to figure out which of the " miracle theories " to spend your energy and money on. I know that if you were 100% sure one of them would work, you would completely invest yourself there, but it's impossible to know ahead of time. And so many of the things I pursued throughout the years only lead to partial improvements, good sure, but not really what you're looking for. Yes, I tried many many things and yes, a lot of them made a " slight " improvement. Maybe ultimately I needed all those slight improvements to get well. But let me remind you, my MAIN problem was mold. In my case occupational exposure to it. But now that I have been away from it for a few years I am 100% better. Not a little better, completely. I was very sick, unable to work for years, extremely cognitively impaired, a shadow of my former self, and those of you who have been on the list a long time know I am not lying about this. I had EBV and CMV and HHV6 and coag negative staph and mercury poisoning, MCS, and ..... it makes me tired just remembering it. When I got away from the mold I got better very quickly, but at first I needed cholestyramine. But over time every symptom went away, and now I can go anywhere and do anything without any problems. And remember, I had NO warning signs of mold. There was none of it visible in my house or work, or anything that would make you suspicious. And yes, some of you may have 2 bad mold genes, and recover will be more difficult and you will have to be more careful than me, who only has 1 bad mold gene. But my question to you is, how many of you have even had the test? It isn't that expensive, a few hundred dollars. How many of you have even read the book? What is it $20, or free at the library? Speaking as someone who has been there and is recovered... If I were sick again, I would of course focus on mold because I now know I am genetically susceptible to problems with mold toxins. But next I would test for the toxin clearing problems aka Yasko, because having yoru body tell you genetically what problem it has is such an amazing thing. To know where to focus, so you can block out the rest of the clutter and focus on the problems your body has. Sure it might not cure everybody but it sure is better than fussing around with things like colonics, electrical devices, and silver; than buying hundreds of different supplements hoping to stumble upon the right one, which you would probably never know anyway because a change wouldn't be obvious and you wouldn't stick with it long enough. (I still have an entire kitchen island full of half taken supplements, which cost me a hell of a lot more than a few tests.) From what I read, most of you still don't understand the basics behind mold toxins, you don't know the difference between Mold (which is not a problem) and Mold Toxins (which is a problem if you body genetically can't eliminate the mold toxins.) Please just read Mold Warriers, a small commitment, then you can decide for yourself whether to take it any further. Doris
