Thanks for forwarding this on, Kathy. I've also heard all of those

comments with with my eleven. One they did not have that always

humors me is, " I would have had a dozen if I could, but I was only

able to have two. " I wonder if they really know what it would be like

to have a dozen! I think maybe it's harder than some people imagine..

Oh that was TOO CUTE!!! And oh so true. :-) The stupid comments never cease to amaze me. ;-)My favorite though was 'don't you know what cause that?' to which I would always reply... YES!! and I'm veerryyyyy good at it, ask how many kid they have, and when they replied 1 or 2, would offer condolences that they didn't know how to do 'it' very well and would offer to give them pointers. ;-) This never fails to shut up any man ( and it seems to be men who most often say that) rude enough to say that to me. ;-)It doesn''t stop either-- we have all gone to eat a few times and oh my gosh, people practically fall off their chairs staring at us all, add with the ds, identical twins and with his 'little hand' and we are treated like a freak show.

I have 5 kids. I have a son with DS and identical twin daughters that are about to turn 5. My son with DS is 9 and my younger son is 7. For a long time they were the same height so people would also think they were twins. I also have an 11 year old daughter. People used just stare opened mouth at us as we walked by thinking we had 2 sets of twins.

I also remembered once in Bible study as my husband and another man with several kids high fiving each other as they agreed that "they definately knew what caused it"
