This is used as one indication of lupus, but it's not very specific. A fair number of healthy nromals have high ANA, as do various sorts of sick people. So, it might be a coincidence. I don't know about it in great detail, though... your doctor probably knows a lot more than me. But, you can also read about it on medical sites... I'd suggest looking for ones authored by someone with a degree, like this one on ANA: http://www.medicinenet.com/antinuclear_antibody/article.htm ....rather than some random site that no one is taking any accountability for. As for high IgM... I don't know anything about it really... but you probably want to do a search using the term " hyperimmunoglobulinemia M. " Bear in mind, there may be various different disease descriptions, like " essential hyperIgM, " " hyperIgM with yada yada, " etc, which may be very different in cause and nature. As you may know... most of us here have various sorts of immune diseases with fatigue, pain, etc... and happen to be responders to antibacterial treatment, for reasons that are basically unclear.
