I live only a few Hrs from where Speaker came thru the Canadian/US

border crossing.

His name was on the " Don't let back into the USA list " with the border

patrol - and the Border Patrol Officer made his own fatefull decision

to let him enter " because he didn't look sick " .

The Officer has been releived of his post for doing this.

So we (near the border) think that this is MUCH MORE about letting a

person into the country that was on a " don't not enter " list than the

reason he was on the list in the first place...

Even so- I wonder why ALL the press on this - is it because it's so

easy to enter the US - even with our lists - or is there just nothing

else in the news (like this is a diversion from the death toll in Iraq)

or is there someone out to " get " the father-in-law (like how'd it

become news so quickly? The article Penny posted is correct- there's

ALOT of latent non- infectious TB in the US

So what-up here?

Yeah, I don't know. There may not have been anyone with such a

resistant strain in the US before. Or there may have been. I'm not sure.
