Guest guest
Our paper today did an article on bedbugs found in some rather nice hotels here in Vegas. It had a little blurb on the side where some health official declared that bedbugs carry no infections. That got me questioning. A quick search turned up the POSSIBILITY that bedbugs could transmit hepatitis B. But really worse it turned up that the little critters definitely can carry a parasite which causes Chagas disease. This disease has a latency period of about 10 years upon which time the little critters damage your heart and your brain, you die AND THERE IS NO EFFECTIVE TREATMENT. (Maybe the Yasko protocol will work...) Now, mind you, this disease is mostly found in Brazil and coastal areas of Central America. But bedbugs get carried all over the world on shoes and suitcases. Las Vegas has tourists and illegals from Guatemala, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, etc. But, hey, not to worry, bedbugs don't carry any infectious diseases. Welcome to America, the land of the parasite free. a Carnes
