Guest guest
After 10 years of consulting many different doctors, I might finally have a correct diagnosis - jaw bone infection. So far, I have a SPECT scan that shows a dark spot in my left jawbone. But SPECT scans are fairly vague so I want to verify the diagnosis further by doing a MRI STIR and a CAVITAT. I also need to find out what caused the infection -- a bad root canal, an extraction or maybe early trauma to the teeth? So here are my questions to the similarly afflicted: - What's your experience with the CAVITAT? How reliable is it? - Has anybody tried light therapy? [ http://www.lumenphoton.com ] - Which practitioners would you recommend? I thought Dr. Shankland in Ohio looked promising -- he seems to be THE expert in the field. (Has anybody any experience with him?) However, I live in California so if you know anybody in CA who's really good, I'd appreciate the info. - Is there anything else I should be aware of -- like worthwhile treatments or different diagnostic tools? Thanks - I appreciate any help! Bigel-oh
