Guest guest
Isabella has been using Emla for blood draws since she was 6 months old she is 3 1/2 yrs old now. I have seen no side effects whatsoever. She barely even flinches now when we draw blood. The only flinch is seeing the needle. They use the small butterfly one on her, but she does really well during blood draws. IMO there is no down side to using Emla cream. Be sure you give it at least 20 minutes to work, but no longer than an hour. Guest guest
The only side effect we have is when we put in on Faith she starts worrying. I can't put the bandage over it or put it on as thick as called for, she won't let me. So I just rub in as much as possible and hope it works. ette mom to Faith (11)DS -------------- Original message from Caroline Skalsky : -------------- > Isabella has been using Emla for blood draws since she was 6 months old > she is 3 1/2 yrs old now.
