Hi andra,

Yes that is exactly how it is. Most of the time I prefer to be left

in peace. I am lucky though as my mum and sisters have been sending

me articles they have found to try and help me. Years ago when the

problem first ocurred (22 years now) nobody really knew what was

going on or what could be done to help but now there is more

information out there and they're doing what they can which is great.

Maybe you're right and my feelings toward him began to change and

that's when his noise bothered me. I really couldn't tell you now but

it does worry me that I could make somebody's life miserable because

of my problem. I never have a problem with intimacy in that respect.

That noise does not bother me at all. It's not something I generally

talk about as the majority don't understand where I'm coming from but

my friends know that I hate to hear others eat etc but they put it

down to me liking good manners. I also don't want people to feel on

edge around me or that they have to walk on egg shells. All that does

is draw even more attention to it. A couple of very close friends now

know about it and have been really understanding which is good.

Happy holidays to you too
