I also had my Retina Spectialist appointment in Dartmouth.

I actually liked her (probably becuase she agreed with me).

She verified that optic neuritis (pressure on the optic nerve from

raised brain pressure) was the probable reason the loss in color

preception of the color red while I had Lyme (it came back post abx

and to see that color again was shocking as I didn't realize how much

I'd lost the ability to see that color) AND why I had so many visual

field disturbances and head aches.. (central vision problems for a

while then peripherial- weird stuff)..

She also verified that the anomoly in my right visual field is

a " scar " from the vitreous separating from the retina ( it's alot

better now actually - almost gone in fact).

She also verified that I still do NOT have inflammation in either eye.

Eyes look good. (thankfully)

That's great news. Also interesting in that it supports possible conditions some of us are pondering right now. penny Barb Peck <egroups1bp@...> wrote: I also had my Retina Spectialist appointment in Dartmouth.I actually liked her (probably becuase she agreed with me).She verified that optic neuritis (pressure on the optic nerve from raised brain pressure) was the probable reason the loss in color preception of the color red
