Guest guest
Hi Mike, I take it orally. Have tried opening capsules and holding them in my mouth -- very puckering, sour quality, but not too bad. Interestingly the triphala really stains the tongue -- seems to stick to the thrushy coating and hang on for dear life. Also stains the teeth, so I'm just swallowing them for now. No side effects except if one takes too much the stool can get a little loose. There is a lot of information on triphala on the net. It is one of the main ayurvedic medicines, and yes, I do believe it works both in the gut and systemically. It also has antioxidant properties. Hope this helps, d. > > > > > > > I'm finding help using old " drugs " -- in my case, the ayurvedic > herbal formula called > > Triphala. Guest guest
Dan Your describing staining? This is used in microbiology as a tool to actually see bacteria under the microscope. When staining you may have the ability to stop bacteria multiplying puttiong a wedge in there mechanisms of reproduction.Iodine is a staining material that also kills bacteria. tony > > > > > > > > > > > I'm finding help using old " drugs " -- in my case, the ayurvedic > > herbal formula called > > > Triphala.
