Guest guest
a, doing some checking around, I read that a person presenting with chronic headache should have the following scans. Have you had them all? MRI brain scan MRA scan (to rule out vascular issues, although some things like brain vasculitis can only be proven with a brain biopsy) MR venogram to rule out venous sinus compression. Neck imaging may also be warranted. rule out pseudotumor cerebri Note: MRI is usually sensitive to CNS vasculitis. Although, it would be abnormal. It wouldn't be certain if it actually WAS vasculitis without the biopsy. I also read that some docs will put you on steroids to "break the headache/migraine cycle". penny
