Guest guest
I probably am one of the more sensitive ones. I have herxed off and on throughout the last four years. Generally, I either back off of a supplement entirely for awhile or reduce levels dramatically. So I will still herx whenever I take some supplements. I have small herxes to juicing, some detox baths, primal defense, oil of oregano, and small doses of antibiotics on my antibiotic protocol. I still have significant herxes to enzymes, milk thistle, several products by GArden of Life and many others. So I am constantly juggline what I do to improve my health. All in all, my doing this I have a pretty good level of health and feeling well...until I decide I am going to try something new. Then I get myself in a pain syndrome and have to quit and work myself back out of it! As far as the big picture is concerned, I keep improving by small degrees. In fact, it was just a few weeks ago that I told my husband that I had finally turned thecorner and was for all intents and purposes " well " and my depression was greatly improved. But then my raw milk and dairy diet caught up with me and put me right back in alot of symptoms that had been gone. It scared me because it made me think I was getting sick again. Then I read up on herxes caused by raw dairy and cut back. Everytime I try to drink more than a little of the milk again--which I love--the muscle spasms and tendon pain starts up again. Apparently raw milk has alot of enzymes and enzymes put me in alot of pain!Sometimes I wonder if I will ever get to the point that I won't herx to things. But it is of small consequence when I am continually improving! So be encouraged. Happy Thanksgiving Hugs, kathy > > I had a bad herx last night. Guest guest
Hi Molly, Yes, that's me, well, I think so. I am not sure where I got the connection to Implant Info Net. May have been Llena. I was trying to find a UK one as I am now in contact with the European Parliament and need some advice on EU laws to fight it here in Tenerife. Guest guest
Thanks for the encouragement! And thanks for sharing your frustrations also. I do have my implants out. I found this group four years ago and got my salines out probably a month or two later. Immediately I got improvement in several symptoms-- especially what I consider to be some fairly severe brain dysfunction. At the same time I started antibiotic therapy for scleroderma like symptoms. I was tested for mycoplasma and found to have two kinds--hominus and fermantans. Hominus has been associated with lupus and fermantans with many autoimmune diseases. I had also been diagnosed with fms around twenty years ago. Anyway, I could never get up to the doses of antibiotcs that I was supposed to take as I had terrible herxes. But I could tell they were helping. Everytime I would get gung ho to get better and try supplements or different types of detox, I would have an increase in symptoms. I have had many periods of feeling almost entirely well over the past two years, but then I would go through periods of increased symptoms which I attributed to herxing because they seemed to follow pretty directly trying something new or at an increased amount. But I am also now going through perimenopause and I think that my hormonal status is playing a heavy hand in how I feel. Because of that, this last month has been particularly bad for me and now I seem to be in the chronic pain situation that I mentioned. Yes this support group is fantastic and I have been a moderator here for a while now. I love this group and the way we are always here for each other! Did you say that you have the date set for your explant? I am sure you are looking forward to having them out! Guest guest
Yeah, I'm not really sure about this so-called " 'herxheimer " reaction. It very well may be legit, but when I was younger and took abx for different infections, acne, etc.,, I NEVER got any sort of herx. In fact, one had to be reminded to take all the abx, even if one was feeling better, for fear of some detrimental effect on a hidden heart problem... d. p.s. I would say if you've got the mucous flowing, that's a good (albeit uncomfortable) sign! > > > > > > > > That's a scary thought. Guest guest
Hi Joanne, Liver flushes are great for dumping a bunch of stuff all at once. . . The downside is that you'll feel punk for about 24 hours. . . Then you should feel much better! I'd plan to take it easy the day after you do the prep. The job of the liver is to filter out toxins. . . When we're actively trying to detox, the toxins can become more than the liver can handle . . . so we can either slow down the detox process, or flush them out. I highly recommend them for anyone struggling to get better. Rogene
Guest guest
Joanne, Be sure to double up on your mineral intake when doing the foot baths. They deplete the good minerals along with the bad . . . Calcium/Magnesium is especially important. . . If your feet start burning, you'll know what I mean! Guest guest
Liver flushes are good. I've done several. I think they are great therapeutic detoxing avenues. Pattyjoanne_321321 <joanne_321321@...> wrote: Hi All,I haven't written for so long. I just keep plugging along with this detox thing. Today I feel really bad because I overdid the exercise and it must have done something. I feel like my upper arms are going to explode, my tongue and roof of the mouth tingle, my breasts itch and it is difficult to breath (as if my liver is swollen).I usually do Epson Salt baths and foot baths on these days when I get home from work and the next day is usually better. I know that these episodes are less frequent then they were but when they come, it is all I can think about. I am 4 years post explant (silicone) and wonder if it will ever get better. I know that people have mentioned coffee enemas but they are not for me. I take Oxypowder which really helps me to move things along. Has anyone done a liver flush? I wonder if it would open up channels or if it would cause a major herx?? Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thanks, Joanne oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links.
