UV light induced nauseau/sickness is one of the things that drew me

into the discussions with your leader, mainly because in my distant

past I experienced the forced need to avoid the sun. (this was in the

late 70's after I first became ill. )

At the time I had so many systems 'dysregulated' it wasn't hard

for me to put 2 and 2 together and even though I didn't like what it

added up to I had to face it.

I actually avoided it for about 9 months - mainly because I would

get physically ill after about 15 minutes exposure- and it would come

on within 20 minutes (I'd be vomiting). These boil like things would

also appear on my skin and hurt (they may have been giant hives - i'm

not sure) and my lymph nodes would swell and stay swelled. It was

horrible.

I lived outdoors prior to getting sick- and the initial onset for

me was very quick. (A tainted blood transfusion was responsible

for 'infecting' me in the mid 70's). SO UV avoidance for me induced a

profound depression because of my lifestyle change.

So. I'm starting to ramble.. but WHile I think there may be other

cases like mine - I DO agree that avoidance may be required in some

instance- I don't agree that for the population at large ( people with

Lyme, Babesia, Chronic Fatigue, etc) that it's necessarily a good

thing.)to deprive the body for a prolonged time of vit D. I think it's

all more complicated than VIT D - UV light does more than stimulate Vit

D production. (Plus sun screen blocks D production- but did nothing

for me to avoid nausea)
