You have NO IDEA! You are so busy wanting your ilness to be something

else? The infections of CFS, or Lyme, are right in that

neighbourhood. Yet time an time again, you refuse to acknowledge this.

It's obvious that shoemakers swab of the region does reveal damaging

organisms, according to your esoterix report- but na can't have that,

doesn't fit with the what I want my ilness to be.

I can't get anything to treat it. I've tried for weeks at a time -

various antibiotics - nothing works at all. I thought penicillin was

for awhile, but then it stopped working. At some point you start to

step back and look at dealing with symptoms. I never thought I would

write that, but it is true.

I still have some circulation things to try.

I also wonder what natural treatment would increase levels of GABA in

the brain or lower glutamate.

You might give the penicillin another go. I sometimes think it's not working either, until I stop taking it and then realize I was wrong. Pretty weird about the nerve reaction in the legs. All I know is that I feel like I'm doing a precarious balancing act on the edge of a very sharp blade where the slightest disturbance can result in a bad fall with painful results. My crazy neuron firings usually result in migraines. Who knows why exactly? But I suppose it could just as easily go the other way and effect the legs. I know spasming blood vessels are a causative factor in migraines, so could very well be the case in your legs as well. I think trying some circulatory stuff would be worth a shot. You never know what's going to work with this illness until you stumble upon it. pennypjeanneus <pj7@...> wrote: I can't get anything to treat it. a,

frequently, trying to manage symptoms can stimulate/create b9igger

problems than you already have..I would be trying a serious shot of

cefazolin or a decent dose of keflex as a probe instead of giving

up. Also penicillin for your symptoms is given, when sensitive, in

LARGE AMOUNTS not the petty cash stuff your thinking..And Ohhh!!!!

welcome to the world of ME ............

Per Amy Yasko, to my recollection: Glutamate is the gun, calcium the

bullet. Magnesium reversibly inhibits this.

Magnesium.

Cut down glutamates in diet.

Theanine can help (Allergy Research makes ZEN I think, theanine and gaba).

Chamomile tea has apigenin, a benzo like chemical.
