Hi Kirsty.

If,when you say silicone, you mean Teflon/non-stick, the grey or black

slippery coating on cookware, then it is not very healthy. It starts

to shed cancer causing chemicals at around 400 degrees C, but at lower

" oven temperatures " I would still not trust it.
