Cults- criteria

Well- now I'm adding to the number of posts on this site under the

heading of " cult " .... but when I look at the 8 or 9 criteria that

defines a Cult - In my opinion the MP fits it quite nicely..... and

this is independant of whether or not I agree with whether the

therapy does any good- or does more harm than good.

I think Roy- being an intelligent man - that you can agree with that.

I'm not conflicted because I can agree with some of the theories

behind some of the therapy and still think they fit the criteria of

a cult.

I ** do ** agree with some of them ( hell yes, I've read several

full papers that support some of them.) - But I also think some are

detrimental, and by pushing those, and by the way business is run

has basically over shadowed the parts of the therapy that may be

helpfull.

My opinions on this is why I left the core group in the first place

( it was mutual, because I think I was about to be expelled anyway -

and was eventually banned from posting on either site )

And, from the info and posts I've seen in the last few years coming

from people on the therapy - filtered as it may be - I haven;t

changed my opinion.
